Heineken Supply Chain Planning:
Accelerating business value in a volatile world
The next generation of FuturMaster’s Cloud-based AI-augmented Supply Chain Planning solutions will be deployed from Q1 2021 as part of the S&OP FIT Program in Heineken. In line with Heineken’s data driven transformation strategy, this new generation of solutions offers cloud SAAS model to the global brewer’s Operating Companies worldwide, embracing artificial intelligence and offering an improved user interface.
To estimate potential future business value of the new solution, FuturMaster and Heineken teams have made a Proof of Value (PoV) exercise in Q2 2020. This study has shown promising results in forecast accuracy improvement supported by Machine Learning/ Artificial Intelligence features.
After success of PoV, the teams are working on delivering the new SAAS planning template in order to accelerate its global roll-out. This will lead Heineken’s Operating Companies to better product availability for their customers, as well as to support their planning teams in eliminating non value-added activities in their day-to-day work.
FuturMaster’s partnership with Heineken goes back to 1997 when many of the group’s Operating Companies started to implement FuturMaster as their planning solution. The global journey really kicked off in 2017 with a global template available for Demand and Supply planning. After 2 successful pilots in China and Hungary, the standard solution is currently deployed in 14 countries worldwide, enabling the OpCos to move away from standalone legacy systems.
