Sennheiser Supply Chain: Achieving high visibility of customer demand throughout the supply network
Sennheiser, the world’s leading manufacturers of headphones, loudspeakers, microphones and wireless transmission systems, has implemented a new supply chain organisation with its SCP PITCH project: Supply Chain Planning, Process, IT, Change.
The objective: gain transparency of customer demand across all parts of the supply network organisation worldwide.
The new supply chain organisation relies on one process, one integrated team and one IT system using FuturMaster’s supply chain planning software solution.
The first stage of the SCP PITCH project, which consisted of implementing FuturMaster’s Distribution Planning solution, was just completed.
The feedbacks have been very positive so far: increased service level to customers (transparency of customer demand and more reliable promises), reduced supply chain costs and enhanced efficiency for the supply chain planning organisation.
