Vranken Pommery takes on FuturMaster Sales Planning & Budgeting

Vfranen-Pommery
Vranken Pommery, a worldwide leader in the production and commercialisation of champagne have chosen to work with FuturMaster in order to manage their sales planning and budgeting.  Thanks to FuturMaster’s new collaborative budgeting solution, the new process guarantees Vranken Pommery a better visibility of company performance, whilst considerably reducing the budget processing time.

Collaboration in real time for better efficiency

Vranken Pommery owns a vast supply network worldwide and in order to improve collaboration between their supply chain stakeholders, the Group decided to optimise their budget process and structure.  “Our objective was to move from a multitude of Excel documents created by each of our subsidiaries to a unique budget, simultaneously approved and shared by all members of the budgetary process”, explains Lucie Marolles, Management Control Department of Vranken Pommery.
After an invitation to tender, Vranken Pommery chose to rely on FuturMaster’s expertise to roll out its  budgetary management tool with the aim to optimise budget validation.  Thanks to FuturMaster’s solution, Vranken Pommery will benefit from a unique and user-adjustable tool which will allow the supply chain team to work together in constructing their budget.  Indeed, the solution is a highly collaborative platform providing the ability to carry out a business gap analysis and thus find a consensus more efficiently.

Achieving objectives thanks to a better follow-up of the budget

Beyond facilitating the user’s experience, the adoption of this new way of working will also guarantee the team better visibility of the analysis and thus effectively follow up the budget.  Indeed, the solution allows the budget to be re-examined according to actual results and therefore can be adapted to achieve the set objectives.
“The technical nature of the FuturMaster offer, which is adapted to all user profiles and covers the whole budget management cycle, was a key element in the final decision.  This tool will allow us to benefit daily from reliable and easily manipulated information”, Lucie Marolles further explains.
For the roll out of the solution, a dedicated team of FuturMaster consultants provided training for Vranken Pommery and ensured a smooth transition towards this new way of working.
“We are delighted that a major company such as Vranken Pommery recognises our know how in the field of budgetary management.  Our collaborative platform, with the powerful ability for multidimensional simulation, allows the team involved in the budgetary process to arbitrate in real time different scenarios, thus effectively facilitating a final consensus”, Michel Ramis explains, Executive VP Sales and Marketing of FuturMaster.
