Supply chain solution provider FuturMaster appoints new sales execs in Europe

Rotterdam

Michel Stekelenburg to head up sales in Northern Europe after recent growth and appointment of Nick Giuffrida as UK sales director.

FuturMaster, the supply chain solution provider that helps a number of major food, retail and manufacturing companies with demand forecasting and streamlining production and supply, continues its international expansion with the opening of a new Northern Europe operation, located in Rotterdam in the Netherlands.

“From our growing bases in France and the UK, we have signed some large customers in the last few years across Northern Europe, including Heineken in the Netherlands and L’Oreal across Benelux and the Nordic regions – that’s why we believe we have a huge potential for growth in this region,” said Michel Ramis, executive VP of sales and marketing at FuturMaster.

The company has appointed Michel Stekelenburg as head of sales in Northern Europe. He will be responsible for all the marketing and sales operations in the Nordics and Benelux regions, following previous European sales roles at other software vendors including Amber Road Inc and QAD Inc.

Nick Giuffrida joined a few months ago as FuturMaster’s UK sales director to support the growing UK business. He previously held technology sales roles at Quinitiq, DST Global Solutions and Telelogic.

The European tech company saw turnover rise to €16m (£14m) last year with over a fifth of sales internationally. It now has more than 500 clients in over 65 countries and employs around 150 people.

“We expect to maximise growth and support increasing numbers of customers globally with the recruitment of experienced managers in each region,” said Ramis. “We want to develop the FuturMaster business directly with our own teams but also with dedicated business partners and resellers in various countries like Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland.”
