Large volumes of product are required on time and in the correct quantities with severe penalties often applied for delays in delivery. Cannibalisation and post-promotion effects can be difficult to evaluate and poor assessment of requirements can result in high wastage. Financial losses are commonplace as a result of campaign profitability not being assessed in advance.

Advanced Promotion Management enables end-to-end control of promotional campaigns. Simulating the impact of a campaign pre-promotion helps to assess its value before presenting it to customers. Actual sales during promotions can be applied to update the forecast in real time. Post-promotional analysis improves the accuracy of future campaign planning.
