SCALING UP DEMAND PLANNING PROCESSES

Moy Park, a part of the Pilgrim's family, needed to upgrade its management processes due to business growth and the introduction of a more formal S&OP process. They selected FuturMaster in 2013 to solve the demand forecasting elements of their S&OP process. The implementation included demand planning and advanced promotion management modules. The system significantly improved forecast accuracy and reduced bias. However, challenges arose in the past two years, including the impacts of Brexit, COVID-19, and inflation. Despite these obstacles, Moy Park saw continuous improvements and remained focused on achieving forecast accuracy and bias targets. The company's transition into the Pilgrim's family further influenced their approach to demand planning.

Moy Park worked with FuturMaster on a roadmap to upgrade to FuturMaster Bloom, incorporating machine learning and trade promotion management to further enhance their demand planning capabilities.
